Tonight, December 4th, Randy Harrison will be on stage at the Asia Society in New York for the 26th Annual Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala hosted by The York Theatre to honor Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt (a legendary musical theatre writing team) with the 2017 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre.
In an interview published on broadwayworld.com Richard Jay-Alexander, who will direct the concert and award ceremony, talked about the different artists performing at the event and Randy among them: "Randy Harrison is an actor I met recently and he blew me away in the National Tour of CABARET".
