I used to use FanUpdate. I had about 160 entries on there berfoe finally deciding to make the huge move to WordPress. It honestly only took me a few hours to get a theme going. I feel like I need to include tutorials on that on my website. :PI did use Cutenews briefly. I used Haloscan berfoe they closed/changed, when I was on a subdomain. I wanted a good CMS/blogging tool when I got my domain and I tried Cutenews berfoe I moved everything over, but within 24 hours I already got heaps of spam. FanUpdate was really good for me then but since changing to WordPress I don't regret it one bit. I wish I could have moved my old posts though While I love coding and I use the HTML editor in WordPress, I like having it to manage my entire website. It's just so much easier and it looks good and is organised. I wouldn't use UTF-8 Cutenews; maybe only for a fanlisting collective or a website with really small updates.RE: I used to say I was shy too somehow that is totally wrong for me too.
